This two door 99 is an early, chrome-bumper model with the very unique 1.7 liter four stroke slant four engine (rebuilt with probably the last set of NOS pistons in the world). The body shell is in very good condition, the only serious corrosion being a few very small holes in the rockers. The car has never been crashed, and doesn't have any Bondo or fiberglass on it. The engine was rebuilt with all new gaskets, NOS pistons, new valves, valve guides, seats, timing chain, timing chain tensioner and guides, rebuilt injectors, and million other little things to bring the old four cylinder back to life. The original fuel tank is all gunked up so a custom made aluminum tank was built for the car. The original tank comes with the car. The wheels that are on the car are Datsun 240Z wheels, but the original steel wheels come with the car and are mostly restored. The interior is partly taken apart but is complete and in decent condition. The driver's seat has brand new upholstery, and the passenger seat and rear seat are in good shape. Feel free to make me an offer. Thank you.

Exceptionally clean rare Saab available. Original paint, clean interior, runs and drives well. Purchased from family of original owner after sitting in their pole barn with a bad transmission for 32 years. I purchased it, towed it home, and began a significant effort to bring this beauty back to life. Comes with original purchase agreement from Countryside Saab, the mechanics repair manual, many parts, and a sales brochure I found from 1976. See the add on my local CL for more details on what has been done over the last 10 months since I acquired it. I just attended the Saab Owners convention in Solomons MD, and while there were approximately 50 classic 900’s, there were 2 of the model 99’s. They are rare and hard to find, especially in this condition. This car could easily be part of a collection if someone had the ability to finish the last few things it needs. Thanks for looking.
